ESA Wig and Turban Service

No-cost Wig and Turban Service to assist patients coping with hair loss during cancer treatments.

“It was a lifesaver for me – what a truly wonderful service to have available and the support of the team at such a vulnerable time of your life.” ESA Wig and Turban recipient.

Dealing with hair loss is a very individual experience; some people like to wear a wig while others find hats, scarves and turbans to be more comfortable and attractive. Deciding what is right for you is the most important thing.

Support during COVID-19

Cancer Council Queensland values the safety of our staff, volunteers, and especially those living with cancer. We are focused on doing what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Queensland.

We are temporarily ceasing face-to-face wig appointments state-wide. Our Wig and Turban Service will continue to provide headwear by post to those experiencing hair loss as a result of cancer treatment. If you need assistance, please call our team on 13 11 20 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, or email us at 13 11 20.
